Word-Filled Wednesday! {proverbs 6:6-8}

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. ~ Proverbs 6:6-8

We too often wait for God to show us which way to go next. To give us a sign.  But, like the ant, instead of waitng, we should be doing and trusting.

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. ~ James 2:17

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. ~ Romans 10:17

  1. oh dear those words bother me as I am older and less able to do the things that once were so easy.....and I ask.......am I a sluggard...or is it just growing older. So hard to tell when chronic illness is involved.
    A great verse.
