"YOU Happy?"

"Mama? You Happy?" These are the words I hear coming from my daughters lips at least 20 times a day! And she is usually saying them after she has done something she shouldn't have and I am fuming mad! {kids know how to work their little charm, don't they?!}

No matter what she has done and how mad I am, whenever she looks up at me with those big, blue, eyes and says those three words, I can't help but smile and say, "Yes. I am very happy!" and all is forgotten! I have every reason in the world to be nothing but happy! I have two healthy, happy, beautiful, children. My husband works extra hard for us and allows for me to stay home and fulfill my dream of being a Stay at Home Mom! I have loving parents and inlaws! And, I serve an Almighty God whose love is unconditional and who also loves me no matter what! He meets my every need and I have never gone without!

In fact, the LORD says a lot about being happy and cheerful in His word:

He says to himself, "Nothing will shake me; I'll always be happy and never have trouble." ~ Psalm 10:6
But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful. ~ Psalm 68:3
A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit. ~ Proverbs 15:13
All the days of the oppressed are wretched, but the cheerful heart has a continual feast. ~ Proverbs 15:15

So, yes my dear, sweet, Busy Bee, Mama is very happy! She truly has everything she has ever needed! {and then some!}

{the photos in this post are some of my favorites of My Busy Bee! Taken about a year and a half ago, they still still speak so many words to me!}

I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. ~ Ecclesiastes 3:12

  1. Loved it! I believe your daughter has caught the very essence of what our Heavenly Father is asking..."Are you happy?" May we find our happiness and joy in Him! Happy TT!
