Gratituesday: Following God's Voice

If you have been reading and following my blog for some time now, then you will have read my many posts about my Bible in 90 Days journey.

Through my journey, my husband was a wonderful support system. He helped me in the evenings with the kids so I could have a few minutes to read. He would talk me into reading when I was doing everything in my power not to read and trying instead to do something else. {how awful to admit, but it is saddenly true!}

He stated how much he admired me for doing this challenge and sticking with it, even when I was 18 days behind!!

He prayed for me and with me.

And now, he has decided to take on the challenge himself!

On Monday night, my husband crawled into bed beside me, Bible in his hands, and opened it to Genesis 1:1.

This is an answer to my prayers as I have been asking God to put the desire into my husbands heart to get more into the Word.

We both struggle with our daily quiet time which was my main reason for taking the challenge on.

And now, since Monday night, we are both reading in the Word!

My husband basically said that his reasoning for taking on this challenge himself was because,
"I heard God telling me to!"
God is so good! I cannot say that enough!

Today, I am Grateful for Jesus Christ, His answer to prayers, My Husband and his love for Jesus, and God's Word!

Will you join us for Gratituesday at Heavenly Homemakers?

And all things, whatever you make request for in prayer, having faith, you will get. ~ Matthew 21:22
