Fall is the perfect time of year to cozy up on the couch or in your favorite chair and read a book. And that is exactly what I have been doing. My progress has been good, not as good as I would like, but good nontheless. I have read three books since starting this challenge and am half way through my fourth.
Here is what I have read so far: {to view my list of reading goals, click here}
Betsy-Tacy and Tib by Maud Hart Lovelace {not on original list}
Betsy and Tacy Go Over the Big Hill by Maud Hart Lovelace {not on original list}
Amy Inspired by Bethany Pierce {on original list}
Here is what I am working on:
The Help by Kathrynn Stockett
Betsy-Tacy by Maud Hart Lovelace
Betsy and Tacy Go Downtown by Maud Hart Lovelace
Here is what's next:
Catching Moondrops by Jennifer Erin Valent
Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See
Those Who Save Us by Jenna Blum
Today on Katrina's Blog, Callapidder Days, she is asking the question,
"Where do you love to read? Note: I don’t mean where do you actually do most of your reading, because that might be the carpool line, the work cafeteria, or even the bathroom (if you have to escape from a few small children in order to read a chapter of your book). I mean, what are a few of the places where you LOVE to read?"
I love reading in a few different places.
* I have a chaise lounge chair in my front room that is the perfect place to relax, stretch out, and read a book.
* I, like Katrina, love to read in bed before falling asleep. It is the coziest place and by far the easiest to get lost in a book in!
What have you been reading lately? Where do you like to get lost in a book at?
"...for the joy of the Lord is your strength!” ~ Nehemiah 8:10
I definitely love to read in bed before falling asleep - have a hard time sleeping when I don't! Unfortunately, that's pretty much the only place I read lately.
