Hey Amy!

I actually have been shopping around for fabric to make one myself. I'm having difficulty finding a fabric though with a good stretch. I already bought 5 yards of a cute fabric that is NOT going to work! Any suggestions on the fabric? Did you use 5 yards? I've read people use between 4-5 yards. 5 Yards seems like a lot to me. Thanks for the advice! :0)
Cute pictures! My little ones have been waiting "patiently" to go to the zoo as our first field trip!

I saw your sweet comment on my blog tonight and thought I would pop by to visit yours--I'm so glad I did! This post caught my eye because I grew to love baby wearing with our firstborn, our sweet Emma, and now I am 14 weeks pregnant with our second and looking forward to doing this right from the beginning!

I made a 'moby wrap' with 5-6 yards of jersey knit. Gives perfect stretch, no sewing needed and you'll end up cutting the fabric in half length wise, so you get two!!
DeleteLoved this post, Amy! Discovering baby wearing with my 2nd baby has made a world of difference in my life. I think especially for Mamas with lots of little ones, being hands-free is such a blessing!
ReplyDeleteI used to wear my babies when they were younger. It was the best way!! Now my youngest is 7 and the oldest is 17 - they still like a good cuddle.
ReplyDeleteI love all those snuggly baby photos! Baby wearing is such fun. :)
