What better way to spend a lazy, cold, dreary, day at home than by reading?!
I just found out about this Read-a-Thon hosted by Dewey at Dewey's Read-a-Thon on my Twitter feed this morning and knew that I had to jump in.
It officially kicked off about 50 minutes ago, so I have some catching up to do, but here is my first hour post! :) {and answers to the meme's questions}
1)Where are you reading from today? On my comfy couch with blankets spread on my lap in cold, dreary, PA!
2)Three random facts about me…1.) I am a new homeschooler this year. 2.) Other than reading, I love to knit and sew. 3.) I am addicted to my Keurig! :)
3)How many books do you have in your TBR pile for the next 24 hours? Hmm...since I just found out about this party and haven't had a chance to prepare...none! :) However, I am about to finish up "Seasons of a Mother's Heart" by Sally Clarkson. Not sure what to start next...
4)Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)? No...just looking forward to spending the day reading and having fun with the other participants!
5)If you’re a veteran read-a-thoner, any advice for people doing this for the first time?
