Come, Lord Jesus, come!

Photobucket

He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming soon." Amen.
Come, Lord Jesus! ~ Revelation 22:20 ESV

I am sitting here in the comforts of this room; this house; this structure that we have made through love into a home, and I can't help but feel saddened and sickened by what is becoming of us. How much evil is living inside us and around us. How much suffering is taking place. How many million  legal deaths have taken place just today! The thought of it sickens me and brings me to tears!

What is happening to us? Why are we letting this happen all around us? Why are we sitting in our plush seats with our expensive coffee drinks sipping life away when there are people, children, everywhere starving and dying and suffering every. single. day?

And we have the nerve, the audacity, to say that God doesn't love us! Doesn't love them! That He left us! Newsflash! We left Him!

Where has our passion and our desire gone to serve others? When did the flame get put out?

He is coming! He is coming...soon! Oh, what a glorious day that will be! How I anticipate the day when I finally get to see my Gracious Heavenly Father face to face!

But, until then, am I being all that He created me to be? Am I serving others? Am I leading a life of good example? Am I giving anyone the gift of Jesus?

Dear Heavenly Father, re-ignite in me a flame, no, a fire, to do your good work. Help me to be more of a blessing and a witness to others. Take me out of my comfort and into where you need me to be a blessing for you and your kingdom! Forgive me, Father, for trying to live the cooshy, feel good version, of being a Christian! I am ready to get my hands and feet dirty! Use me Father to build your Kingdom and bring more to know and serve and love you! I love you Jesus! Oh, how I love you! Amen!
