This {little} House

We did it! We painted, de-cluttered, placed the sign in our front yard, and signed the contract. We are officially up for sale!

We have been anxiously awaiting this next chapter in our lives for the past, oh, six years! We knew when moving into this house that we would {hopefully} not be here forever. And the time has come to move on.

We went through part of this process earlier this year, but felt led by God to sit tight for a little while and wait on Him. So, we did. Now is the time. My husband and I both feel it in our spirit that He is in this all the way with us and it is His time!

A bit of nervousness still resides within my soul and I am in constant prayer to give it all completely to God. I know He is in control and the right buyer will come at the right time. I just need to remain patient and keep my faith in Him.

However, as I sit here in this little house that has become a home in the past six years, a bittersweet feeling comes over me.
My husband carried me over the threshold of this little house on our wedding night.
I brought home two babies to this little house.
I have seen those same two babies crawl and walk for the first time in this little house.
I have learned to cook, sew, knit, and bake in this little house.
We've laughed, cried, dreamed, and have had disappointments in this house.
I've grown into a wife and mother in this little house.
We've grown, not only as a family, but individually as people, as well.
And though I am excited to see what God has in store for us, a part of me will always reside here, in this little house!

Will you please keep my family and I in your prayers as we embark on yet another journey, together? Pray for peace, complete faith and trust in the One who loves us and gives us so much! Thank you sweet friends!
